Tried & Tested: Stocking up with Liz Earle

Dare I say this but... Christmas is around the corner.

40 sleeps away to be accurate.

CRIKEY.

Now this is by no means a post that's telling you to buy that special lady in your life all the Liz Earle range. But if you do, you'd pretty much be a certified winner.

Liz Earle is a brand I truly believe in. And yes, I know, I'm not the only one - but hey, this is my blog so I'm going to be the voice of authority here.

A wee while back the lovely Liz Earle team sent across some products for me to try and report back on. Some of which I've used before (I mean, who doesn't use the hot cloth cleanser?!) but some were new to the range which meant a very excited Claire.

You'll be very hard to find a woman that doesn't love Liz Earle products. It's the perfect gift for a relative/friend/loved one. So why not pick up a few stocking fillers this Christmas?

Here's a lowdown on some of the brand's most loved...

Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser - Let's start with the brand's original beauty icon that's won endless awards. It's super simple to use, can take off even stubborn mascara and will leave skin wonderfully soft and thoroughly cleansed. Everyone should have this cleanser in their beauty cupboard, it's award-winning a million times over for a reason. They even have a nice 'n' festive Christmas box for the season... just sayin'.

Deep Cleansing Mask - My favourite kinda face masks are those that look like you've got mud all over your face. For some reason, in my head those are the ones that convince me they're the best. There's something about this concentrated clay and botanical mask drawing out impurities I find so damn satisfying. It really works and I really rather love it. You can use all over the face, target certain problem areas or particularly annoying T-zones. It's not harsh on your skin and used regularly, works wonders. Plus I love using the porous sponges to take it off - again, SO SATISFYING. Go on, give it a go.

Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer - A newbie on the scene, it's their iconic skin tonic in a spritz. It reminds me in some ways of Caudalie's Beauty Elixir but works essentially as a toner to soothe, refresh, revitalise and brighten your skin. Spray onto a cotton pad and use as a regular toner or - way funner - just spray straight at your face as and when you please.  It smells so good and your skin will thank you.

Superskin Concentrate for Night - Another product I've totally fallen for. Made from a blend of 100% pure plant oils, it works on both dry and mature skin to soften and on combination and oily skin to rebalance. Applied at night before your moisturiser, the oils work their magic whilst you sleep. Pure heaven.

Superskin Dry Oil - It's safe to say I'm already obsessed with the latest addition to the Liz Earle family. I love dry oils. Can't get enough of them. It's completely lightweight, sinks straight into your skin and smells divine thanks to the Superskin botanical blend of cranberry, borage and rosehip seed oils. Skin is given that much needed daily dose of nourishment and you smell fantastic. Isn't that a win-win? This is by far my favourite stocking-filler present.

Superskin moisturiser - These little tubs are miracle workers for mature or dry skin. Not my normal skin-type but in winter, everyone's skin needs that little bit extra help, especially as it's turned as cold as the Arctic! Rich in oils and antioxidants that smooth, replenish and boost collagen - this stuff will sort out any tight skin worry!

Superskin Face Serum - If there's anyone in this day and age that doesn't wear a face serum, get it sorted! Serums can reach further down in the skin than any moisturiser meaning . This serum promises to even skin tone, fight the fatigue (er, yes please!), boost collagen to lift and firm, and intensely hydrate your skin. For those that don't realise they need a serum, this is the gift to help change their minds.

There you have it. I've mentally bought the entire range for gifts already.

And you know, might have popped something in the old basket for myself too...

It is Christmas after all, time for thinking about those special to you!
