January Beauty Saviours

January, the perfect time to detox which will do wonders not only for your health but your skin too! My main focus for my skin this year is to rid it of pesky blemishes and faint scarring (thanks to the pesky blemishes!) and to have the healthiest looking skin possible. I dream of the day I'm comfortable walking around without a scrap of make-up on but for now, I need a few little helpers. That being said, it's on its way up so hurrah for that!

Anyway, I thought I'd round up some of the products that I'm loving recently as you know I'm an absolutely beauty junkie! These come with me everywhere I go and they all have the Claire seal of approval!

I always love hearing about new products (especially ones that will help me achieve dream skin status!) so drop me a comment on here or instagram and tell me your discoveries!

Sunday Riley - LUNA Sleeping Night Oil (£85)

I absolutely LOVE this night time oil! Rich in retinol it helps to reduce signs of ageing whilst you sleep by reducing the visibility of lines and wrinkles. You literally only need a couple of drops per night (warning: it is VERY blue!) and massage onto cleansed skin before bed. Super hydrating and plumping, you'll notice how much better your skin looks and feels in the morning!

Sarah Chapman - SKINESIS Liquid Face Resurfacer (£36)

One product that I buy over and over again is the Liquid Face Resurfacer from Sarah Chapman (in fact, I love everything I've ever tried from her!). One to use after cleansing in the morning and night, it's a wonder product that does a lot. By increasing daily cell turnover it targets skin damage and problem skin, it tightens and refines pores, evens out skin tone and pigmentation, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, regulates sebum production and boosts your skin's radiance. It's also a really lovely step in your skincare regime and my skin always feels much better for having applied it.

By Terry - Baume de Rose (£39)

Another cult following product, the Baume de Rose hydrates, repairs and nourishes both lips and cuticles. It consists of a lipo-regenerating complex made from rose flower essential wax and pastel oil which helps boost cell renewal and contains shea butter to sooth and vitamin E to protect. It also has the dreamy scent of rose which is a nice added extra.

Jo Malone - Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne (£43 for 30ml / £86 for 100ml)

This is my every day smell and I cannot get enough of it - I think I'm obsessed with the smell of sea salt! It's very light to wear, smells ever so slightly masculine and transports you directly to the coast when you spray it. HEAVEN!

Rodial - SPF 15 Stemcell Super-food Day Cream

I always used to struggle with finding a day cream that I really liked but this one from Rodial has become a firm favourite. It's an illuminating moisturiser - with the added bonus of SPF 15 - which not only hydrates but leaves my face with a lovely glow - so no need for primer!

Mario Badescu - Drying Lotion (£14)

One that attracted celebrity following status is this drying lotion, for those times when you have an awful spot that you just want to get rid of quick! Made with a spot-fighting blend of Calamine and Salicylic Acid, it helps to reduce the spot overnight. Good for sensitive skin as it doesn't make skin around the spot dry out - just targets where it's meant to!
