The Spring Edit
For most people, a spring wardrobe is welcomed with open arms. For me, it poses a conundrum.
Being a complete winter baby, I love wrapping up in layers of wool, coats, scarves and hats so stepping out in London last week to tropical climates had me baffled. I did the only thing I could think of and rushed immediately to the shops to do a panic-buy! For once, I was lucky with my purchases and I dare say I've found some spring staples so expect to see them an awful lot!
Can you believe this is the first pair of white jeans I've ever owned? They caught my eye as soon as I saw them and I love the cropped, relaxed fit so much - I think these will be a great staple for when we transition back to autumn paired with an over-sized knit, so a good (cheap) investment in my mind! I practically live in my black skinnies but I think it's time to say goodbye to them for now and move onto brighter and whiter things! Teamed with the jeans is a basic tee (you cannot go wrong with a white v-neck in my opinion!) and this rather beautiful statement floral blazer which adds more than a sprinkling of spring and colour! Finishing off the look with my latest obsessions: a pair of snakeskin sandals from Russell & Bromley (a little bit of a splurge but I was so desperate to find some smart shoes to replace me living in my Superstars and these were the only ones I liked!) and my gorgeous pearl hand piece from Cornelia Webb, sold exclusively at Net-a-Porter.
Of course, no look is complete without a handbag and I was lucky enough to be sent the new Rogue handbag from Coach's latest spring collection - soft as butter and dreamy as they come. The perfect spring accompaniment!
